TracFone is run by the same company that owns Straight Talk, Net10 Wireless and several others, so you should expect the same level of customer service as you would with those companies. I have read quite a few negative reviews of their customer service associates and have had some issues with them myself.
However, if you're willing to put up with it, TracFone does offer some good deals and decent coverage.

I sold a relatively expensive Adobe software for $130 to a 0 feedback buyer. A few minutes later I get a message saying she wants me to give her the serial/activation number so she can use it right away. I haven't shipped it yet. I'm guessing she has, or wants to download the software from Adobe's website and activate it that way. They have trial versions of their software which can transformed into full versions with a serial number and activation. Is it safe to give her the serial number now after she already paid? Or should I just say wait until you get the software in the mail?
What would the worse case scenario be if I gave her the serial number before she physically got the software? If you give her the serial number, you have no proof of delivery (no tracking number) and the buyer can ask to cancel or refund and will still have the serial number.
Most buyers will ask you to email the serial number (even the honest ones) because then they can start using it right away but it's too risky to email it. Send a polite letter that eBay's policy doesn't permit digitally delivered goods and you need to ship the actual item for Seller Protection and then ship. It could still be a scam (let's hope not) but at least you'll have tracking that shows delivered. What's the worst that can happen? Adobe sends you a VeRO notice because you didn't follow their procedures (and meet their standards of proof to get permission) to list their software on eBay. Adobe is in with the RIAA group - or was the last time I cared to look at it. They are one of the most fierce protectors of their brand!
Adobe can still VeRO your listing and have it removed after it has ended. As far as the buyer getting a serial before you snail-mail the CD? Never ever under any circumstances email a serial number.
The buyer can tell eBay that you delivered it electronically and that it does not work, and you won't be covered under seller protection.regardless of whether you snail-mail the CD after you email the key to the buyer. It's simply not done - not here and not anywhere.
